Miswak is a wooden piece from the roots of the Arak tree (family: Salvadora persica), which is an evergreen shrub found in the Arabian Peninsula region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Miswak is also obtained from Ashal, Basham, and Diru trees, but Siwak from the Arak tree is the best. Miswak is considered in Islam to mean: Confirmed year.
